Reiser Legal is a Seattle, Washington based business law firm, focusing on construction and other small business law. Its founding member is Douglas Reiser, Attorney and LEED AP.
By utilizing new technology to be mobile, Reiser Legal LLC is able to efficiently serve the legal needs of bi-coastal (Louisiana and Washington) contractors, businesses and other clients. The firm’s goal is to maximize efficiency, reduce overhead, produce innovative client solutions and maintain low fees for its clients.
Reiser Legal provides all types of legal services. The office focuses on construction disputes & defect, risk management, construction contracting, lien and UCC management & litigation, green building, and public contracting. We serve clients in transactional, preventative and litigation endeavors.
Douglas S. Reiser, Attorney & LEED AP
Doug is a construction and business attorney licensed in both Louisiana and Washington. After obtaining admission to the Washington Bar, Doug became a partner at Wolfe Law Group and oversaw the opening of the Seattle office, which he managed into 2010. In April, 2009, he was offered admission to the Bar in Louisiana.
Doug currently serves as the Chairman of the Young Lawyers Division’s (YLD) Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee and the Vice-Chair of the YLD’s Trial Advocacy Program. He was most recently named by the Washington State Bar Association Board of Governers as a member on its own CLE Committee.
He was awarded a LEED Accredited Professional certification in 2009. Doug was also the co-founder and former shareholder at Express Lien Inc. (now Z Lien), which was awarded the Innovator of the Year award from New Orleans City Business in 2008.
In the past, our principal has spent time working in the legal markets in Cleveland, Oh, New York, NY, New Orleans, LA and Seattle, WA. During his time in New York City at Fordham University School of Law, he worked with the New York City Council’s Office of General Counsel in the Infrastructure Division. There he drafted and litigated legislation impacting residential and commercial builders.
